In the story “The lady of Shallot”, there is the presence of two values in the character traits of the lady of shallot and sir Lancelot. We could view those values in those two characters. Before continuing  on with the essay it is important for us to know the meaning of the values mentioned before. When we say the word patience, we mean the ability to endure difficult circumstances and stay calm. It is also the ability to tolerate, accept or delay problems. Caring is when you are kind or are concerned about someone or something. It is when you feel or show worry as well. In this interesting sorry i read, i could notice that the character of the lady of shallot has the value if patience throughout a long while of the story but comes to a point where she loses it. And i did not presence the value of care in her, it was the opposite. And in sir Lancelot, i presence the value of caring for a moment at the end of the story. The reason why i saw the value of patience in the lady of shallot was because she was locked up in a place or a tower that was on an island near camelot. The island was named shallot. She could not look at the outside world but could only look at what was happening through a mirror that had the reflection of what was happening from the outside of the place she was in. She had to weave a magical web all the time she was kept in there and she used to hear voices in her ear that told her she was cursed and that the curse would be activated if she looked directly to the outside world; which she did do when she saw sir Lancelot pass by. She described him as a very handsome man as if he were a galaxy. Sir Lancelot got her attention as soon as he passed by. Her patience was held together till this very moment, since the moment sir Lancelot caught her eye. She saw him as a very handsome man that she had to see him as a reality and not through a reflection. She felt as if she had to experience something that was real and not something seen through a mirror. She got out and went on a boat. She knew the curse got activated when the magical web floated through the air and the mirror broke. She didn’t care about it since she went on her way and that is why i don’t think she has the value of caring, at least on herself. She died out of nowhere because her blood froze cold from the windy and stormy weather that the island was experiencing. People gathered around while she laid there with a white dress on the boat. Then comes sir Lancelot all worried about the woman that was laying there and took a close look at her. I believe he showed care and worry when he did that.
