What virtues must have people today to make earth a better place to live in?

    The environment in which we live is determined by the coexistencepeople have. All the problems in the world are caused humans, the way they act and behave. What makes people act in certain way is because of their morality and overall the virtues people possess. This virtues is what makes a person morally excellent and capable of having good relationships with the community in which this person is part of. There exist some virtues which are vital for being in a peaceful environment and make earth a better place to live in.

    First of all a virtue is a behavior that shows high moral standards, it is the goodness and righteousness of a person. Having virtues is directly related in having harmony in a society. This virtues could be honor, compassion, respect, loyalty, honesty, among others. This virtues are the fundament of an ideal society in which peaceprevails. The greatest wars of human history had been caused by indifference, narcissism and cruel ideologies. For instance, Hitlercontempt and intolerance with Jews created the Second World War, he didn’t have any virtue or goodness, and he focused on the extermination of what is different from what he believed. 

      Virtues are important because this makes a person less tempted to be guided by greedy attitudes and immoral values. Then again,every person should have virtues in order to have a better coexistence in which everyone can live in a place with a healthy environment. If you are in a society where there’s a person with a negative attitude this will, of course, affect the whole group creating an unhealthy place to live in. 

    In an ideal place to live the virtues that a person should have are respect and tolerance primarily because for coexisting everyone should understand that even though someone is different there is no reason for me to not understand and tolerate them. Also compassion because this makes a more forgiving and understanding human being. Hope by thinking a positive view of the future in which good prevails, charity by actively helping each other, fortitude by having courage and never giving up, justice in which everything is fair and equitable with others and temperance which is moderation of needed things and abstinence from things that are not needed. If you follow the virtues, you will be seen as a good person who is to be trusted. If you assume and act as if others follow the virtues, then they are more likely to do so. All of these virtues are important for human interaction because they incorporate attitudes that are welcoming and in general these makes a person morally good, also a virtue results in the gaining or maintaining of your values that should be based by your moral standard. 

    In conclusion, if everyone is thoughtful enough and follow the virtues mentioned above the world would be such a better place to live in having harmony and integrity as the basis of the society. Everyone would be at peace and will be behaving in a nonviolentway. There will not be any reasons for feuds or disputes because everyone would follow a series of virtues that exist for giving everyone a guide for learning to discern correctly and understand what is good and bad. This virtues help humanity be ethically excellent. A world in which people follow virtues will always be at peace and even more developed. Everyone would have a more peaceful state of mind and there would not be any hate, greed or violence to be concerned about. Earth is formed by billions of people and these are responsible for the harmony that exists. Goodpeople in a place will result in the best environment for living, andwhat makes a person ethically good is the virtues that possesses. There are many virtues to follow but all of them are equally important for having an ideal quality of life.
